ADA, Ohio — Marietta College men's soccer wrapped up its 2010 season with a 5-0 loss at Ohio Northern University Saturday (Oct. 30) afternoon. [Box Score]

The young Pioneers finished the year 1-14-4 overall and 1-7-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Polar Bears improved to 15-4-1, 7-1-1 in league play.

Ohio Northern out shot Marietta 28-3 overall and led 15-1 in shots on goal.

The Polar Bears took a 2-0 advantage into intermission with goals in the 5th and 19th minutes. Ohio Northern then added goals in the 48th, 53rd and 62nd minutes en route to the shutout victory.

Marietta freshmen #Chris Stollar (Marietta/Marietta)# and #Bobby Thaxton (Milford/Milford)# each tended goal for 45 minutes and made five saves in the game.
