A handball in the box led to a penalty kick and Capital's first goal in the 19th minute. Jeremy Sampson converted the penalty shot to give his squad the 1-0 lead.
The Crusaders extended their advantage to 2-0 in the 28th minute when Ian Warmbrodt fed a ball to Josh Thaboune in the middle of the box and Thaboune fired a ground shot past the keeper and into the far side of the net from 10 yards out.
Capital capped the scoring in the 87th minute when Warmbrodt beat the keeper with a header to the far post with an assist from Kevin Clark.
The Crusaders finished the game with a 25-9 advantage in shots and 14-4 lead in shots on goal.
