The Student Princes (3-4, 2-4 OAC) and their nationally 12th-ranked passing offense let their rushing attack, which racked up 352 yards, lead them to victory against the Pioneers (2-5, 1-5 OAC).
Heidelberg, who led 21-6 after the first quarter, 28-13 at halftime and 49-20 after the third quarter, finished with 511 yards of total offense. Marietta collected 328 yards of offense, including 268 yards through the air.
Senior wide receiver #
Cory Kriechbaum (Marietta/Marietta)# moved into third place on the Pioneers' all-time reception list following his seven-catch, 104-yard and one-touchdown performance. Kriechbaum has now pulled in 127 passes, which is 24 shy of the school record set by Antonio Hutton in 1997.
Junior quarterback #
Andrew Keller (Cincinnati/Glen Este)# completed 17-of-40 passes and threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns. He was pressured throughout the day by Heidelberg, which collected five sacks and had six hurries.
Sophomore running back #
Tevin Dones (Antioch, Calif./Antioch)# returned after a one-game absence to rush for a team-best 56 yards and a score on 13 carries. Junior running back #

Jahmaal Jones (Valrico, Fla./Bloomingdale)# finished with six receptions for 66 yards and the second Keller touchdown, while junior wide out #

Freshman Germany Woods was the star of the game for Heidelberg as he ran 21 times for 231 yards and four scores. Senior Andrew Miller completed 9-of-15 passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns. Senior Mike Preston led the Student Princes' receivers with three catches for 70 yards and two scores.
Senior Vaughn Klein anchored Heidelberg's defense with seven tackles, while Andy Lovins had three, including two and one-half sacks.
Marietta returns home Saturday (Oct. 30) afternoon when #11 Ohio Northern University visits Don Drumm Stadium for a Homecoming match-up at 1:30 p.m.
