In 1989, Hart had a school-record 242 saves to lead the Pioneers to a 6-1 record and a league title in the Ohio Athletic Conference. It remains the only OAC championship for the women’s soccer team.
In 1991, Hart finished her senior year with 190 saves and seven shutouts, which ranks third and fifth on the Pioneers’ single-season list, respectively.
Hart, a two-time team MVP, remains Marietta’s career leader in saves (614), and among the top five in goals against average and shutouts.
Hart has spent the last 12 seasons as an assistant women’s soccer coach at Baldwin-Wallace College. She also teaches health and physical education in the Cleveland Municipal School District for grades kindergarten through eighth. In 2001, she received the AFLAC Assistant Coach of the Year award as voted upon by her peers.
