Tom Moss, a four-time national qualifying and eight-time All-Conference sprinter, was a member of the track & field team from 1985-88 after playing basketball as a freshman in 1984. As a junior, Moss finished runner-up in 200m Dash and took third in the 100m Dash at the OAC Outdoor Championship. He then won the 400m Dash at the 1987 OAC Indoor Championship before taking runner-up in the 200m Dash and third in the 100m Dash for a second straight year at the 1987 OAC Outdoor Championship. Moss went on to place fifth in the 400m Dash at the 1987 NCAA Outdoor Championship to earn All-America honors. He then returned as a fifth-year senior to garner All-OAC honors in three more events; he won the 300m Dash and took runner-up in the 400m Dash at the 1988 OAC Indoor Championship and won the 100m Dash at the 1988 OAC Outdoor Championship. During his time with the Pioneers the four-year letterman set eight school records and still holds the top marks in the indoor 300m and 400m dashes as well as the outdoor 200m and 400m dashes.

Moss, who graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering, has worked in the blood banking/cord blood banking field for more than two decades. After spending time with Viacell, Inc., the Hoxworth Blood Center of the University of Cincinnati and the New York Blood Center, he is currently the Vice President of the CORD:USE Cord Blood Bank in Orlando, Fla. Moss lives in Winter Garden, Fla., with his wife Michelle and three sons, Troy, Tommy and Trey.
