Munk was a four-year varsity letter winner in men’s soccer and became the third player in program history to earn All-OAC honors in each of his four seasons. Munk was named first team All-OAC in 1992 and 1993; and was a second team selection in 1994 and 1995.
Munk tallied a pair of hat tricks in his career and currently ranks third on Marietta’s all-time list behind Hall of Famers Jamie Malone and Doug Lessing with 44 career goals scored and 99 career points.
Munk was named the Marietta College Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Decade for the 90’s. In addition to his four All-OAC honors, he is a two-time All-Ohio selection earning the honor in 1993 and 1995.
Off the pitch, Munk was the 1996 OAC Clyde Lamb Award winner and earned Academic All-OAC honors in 1995. An avid runner, Munk has completed over 15 marathons, 10 ultramarathons and the Rim to Rim to Rim Grand Canyon Run.
Munk completed a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Marietta College in 1996. He is the Owner and President of Global Healthcare Services and, along with his wife Danielle (MC Class of 1997), have placed over 2,500 healthcare professionals throughout the United State. They have two children: Haven and Reef.
