R. Bradford Fawley

Fawley, a 1977 graduate of Marietta College, earned four varsity letters each in track and cross country. Fawley served as team captain for both track and cross country as a sophomore, junior, and senior. He was awarded the Tom Lull Awards as the outstanding cross country runner at MC three times and was twice named most valuable player for the track team. Fawley was the Way-Weigelt Award winner in 1977.

Fawley won the OAC indoor track two-mile championship in 1976 and finished second in the six-mile outdoor track championship. He earned All-American honors in cross country in 1976and in track (5000 meters) in 1977.


Fawley and his wife Carolyn DiNicola Fawley, ’77, resided in
Brattleboro, Vermont. They have two children, Russell and Caroline.
