Lindsay Letterle earned four varsity letters in women’s rowing and was named the 2006 Betty Cleland Award winner given to a senior female athlete for outstanding achievement in athletics and academics.
Letterle stroked the Pioneers’ 2004 Dad Vail gold medal winning boat in the Division II/Division III Varsity Eight race. She was also in the stroke seat a year later when Marietta won a silver medal in the same classification.
While serving as team captain her senior season, Letterle capped her rowing career at Marietta by being named a first team CRCA All-American. She was also named MC’s Outstanding Oarswoman.
After graduating from Marietta with a degree in Marketing, Letterle remained active in competitive rowing. She was a member of the New York Athletic Club until 2009 and competed for NYAC in the Head of the Charles and the United States Nationals.
Currently working as a National Account Manager for Clorox, Letterle has earned several awards with Clorox. She was a member of the sales “Team of the Year” in 2013, 2014 and 2016 and won a sales achievement award in 2014 for her productive collaboration among Clorox people and their business partners.
