Sasu earned three varsity letters in football and is Marietta College’s all-time leading rusher with 4,710 career rushing yards, the fourth highest total in OAC history. He earned three All-America honors for the 1999 season garnering second team recognition from Football Gazette and Hewlett Packard and third team honors from D3football.com.

Sasu was selected as a team captain his junior and senior seasons and was voted by his teammates as the Most Outstanding Offensive Player in each of his last three seasons in the Navy Blue and White. Sasu was named second team All-OAC in 1998 and first team in 1999 and 2000 and was a two-time All-Region selection earning second team in 1998 and 1999.

In addition to his career rushing record at Marietta, Sasu still holds the single season record for carries with 333 in 2000. He currently ranks third in career touchdowns (43), third in career points (258), second in career carries (876) and is tied for third in career rushing average (5.4 yards per carry).

Sasu earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Marietta College in 2001. He is employed as a sales representative with Sherwin-Williams Company, who he has worked with for 20 years. Sasu and his wife Melissa, 2000 Marietta alumnae, have two children: Trystan and Jaden.
