Kroger, a four-year letterman, was a member of the volleyball team from 1985-88. She saw action off the bench as freshman in 1985 when the Pioneers finished runner-up in the OAC Tournament. In 1986, Kroger became Marietta’s second setter and while also playing outside hitter. She moved to the team’s primary setter as a junior and earned All-OAC second team honors after dishing out a school-record 772 assists. Her 8.8 assists average led the league and helped the Pioneers once again finish second at the OAC Tournament. Kroger then capped her career with All-OAC first team and All-Region honors in 1988. The captain improved her single-season school record by finishing with 782 assists, enabling her to become Marietta’s all-time leader with 1,949 assists.

Kroger and her husband Scott Frank live with their two daughters, Lauren and Kristen, in Hendersonville, Tenn. She currently a stay-at-home mom who recently enrolled into nursing school at Columbia State.
