Fred M. Rake

Rake, a 1965 graduate, was an outstanding golfer while attending MC.  Fred was an Ohio Conference champion and also finished in the top ten at the NCAA Division III National Championship while receiving All-American honors in 1963.  The following year Fred was the Ohio Conference runner-up and a member of the All-Tournament Team.  He served as team captain for two years and also captured the course record at the Marietta Country Club with a score of 64—one of only three people to ever accomplish this feat.

Since leaving MC, Fred has been the assistant payroll officer for the Department of Transportation for over 28 years.  Fred and his wife, Debbie, have four children and live in Powell, Ohio.
