Lipp, of Indiana, Pennsylvania, was a running back who holds the career record for rushing attempts.  He is four-time All-OAC selection, earning first team honors in 1986 and 1987.  In 1987 he was also a third team All-American.

Before graduation, Lipp also received the prestigious Way-Weigelt Award in 1988.  All together, Lipp is in the top five in four different career rushing categories.

“You think that something like this may happen down the road,” Lipp said. “But I do wish that our team could have accomplished more.  I just hope that we made it easier for the football players that followed us.”

Lipp has been involved in higher education since his graduation in 1988.  He is currently the Dean for Enrollment Management at
Saint Francis College.  Lipp, and his wife Heather (‘88) have two young sons.
