Ream earned four varsity letters in football playing two seasons each for former head coaches Todd Glaser and Curt Wiese. He is one of just 13 Pioneers to garner All-American recognition earning third team honors in 2006.

A four-time All-OAC honoree, Ream earned first team accolades in 2006 and 2007, was a second team pick in 2005 and was named honorable mention as a freshman in 2004. The defensive lineman was a two-time All-North Region selection including first team honors in 2006.

Ream led the Pioneers in tackles for a loss in 2005 and 2006 with 11.0 each season. He also led the Navy Blue and White in quarterback sacks with 6.0 in 2007. Following his senior season, Ream helped the United State defeat Mexico, 37-19, in the Aztec Bowl finishing with three tackles and one sack.

Ream earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Marietta College in 2008. He is currently a CrossFit L2 Trainer and Gym Manager of CrossFit Wooster/419. Ream and his wife Bethany are expecting their first child in May.
