(Deceased), a 1930 graduate and a two-sport letter-man during his college days. Jay earned four letters in football and three in baseball. Co-Capatin of the 1928 Ohio Atheltic Conference Cham[ionship football team, he also served as an assitatnt coach in 1929.

After graduating from MC, he taught two years at te Faurbault Military Institute in Fairbault, Minnesota, where he also was an assistna football and hockey coach. Jay later taught and coached football at Bridgeport High University of Pittsburgh in 1935. Seven years later, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and remained in the active reserves before retiring with the rank of Lt. Col. In 1967.

After working for the Veteran's Administration in Milwaukee, he transferred to The Armed Forces Special Weapons Project in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as an Employee Development and Training Officer until his retirement in 1971.
