McCoy Athletic Center
McCoy, which houses all of the Pioneers' football operations, recently had a 4,000-square-foot addition constructed. The new wing, which cost approximately $200,000, is the team's locker room. The addition comfortably holds 140 lockers. The addition gives the football program more space for meetings and allows the current weight room to be expanded into the space that was previously cramped with lockers. All Marietta press conferences and post-game interviews will also take place at McCoy. The McCoy Athletic Facility opened in 1993 thanks to a lead donation by Chuck McCoy '42. He is a retired chairman and CEO of Premier Bancorp, Inc. When it originally opened it was 6,800 square feet. It still features a reception area, coaches' offices, conference room and laundry room.
