Sophomore Michelle Sayre (Ripley, W.Va./Ripley) led the Pioneer softball team with a .476 batting average during its trip to the Rebel Spring Games. The shortstop also paced the squad in hits (10), home runs (3) and RBI (10). Sayre tied the school's all-time record for home runs and now has 11 for her career.
