Senior running back Vance’ Hodges (Horn Lake, Miss. / Horn Lake) led the Pioneers to a 12-8 season-opening road-win at Westminster last Thursday. Hodges carried the ball 37 times for 171 yards rushing and one touchdown. He also caught three passes for 31 yards. The Pioneer offense dominated the game holding on to the football for over 41 minutes in the game.
