Junior middle blocker Maggie Fellers (Alliance, Ohio / Marlington) led the Pioneer volleyball team to a perfect 3-0 start by sweeping the BSN Sports River City Classic. Fellers had a team-high 13 kills in the 3-0 win over Kenyon to open the season. She added 8 kills against Franciscan and 6 kills versus Washington & Jefferson. For the weekend, she had 27 kills, just two attack errors, and an impressive .556 attack percentage. She also added 5 service aces, 8 digs and 1.0 block.
