Men’s Basketball senior Jason Ellis (Marion, Ohio/Marion Harding) was named the Most Valuable Player of the OAC Tournament after averaging 18.0 points and 5.3 rebounds in Marietta’s three tournament victories. He shot 61.3% (19-of-31) from the floor, 70.6% (12-of-17) from three-point range and was a perfect 4-for-4 at the free throw line. In the championship game against Ohio Northern, Ellis scored Marietta’s first 13 points of the game and became the 36th Pioneer to reach the 1,000-point milestone.
