Track sophomore Laura Pullins (Long Bottom, Ohio/Reedsville Eastern) was named the first OAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week this indoor season after a pair of record-setting performances in the high jump. Pullins opened the season by clearing a school-record 1.69 meters (5’6.5”) in the Marietta First Glimpse meet prior to the semester break. She then broke her own record by clearing 1.73 meters (5’8”) last weekend in the Marietta Open. Her record height is currently the second-best mark in NCAA Division III this winter.
