Men’s Tennis sophomore Jack Hirschfield (Marietta, Ohio/Marietta) was named the OAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week after going 3-1 in singles last week. Hirschfield plays No. 2 singles for the Pioneers and, with partner Shane Spencer, won the No. 1 doubles match in Marietta’s 7-2 win over Wisconsin Lutheran in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina last week. In singles, Hirschfield posted three-set wins against Arcadia and St. Mary’s of Maryland. He won in straight sets against Wisconsin Lutheran.
