Women’s Basketball sophomore forward Alexis Enochs (Beverly, Ohio/Fort Frye) was named the season’s first OAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week after helping the Pioneers start the new season with a pair of victories. Marietta opened the season with an 84-60 road win at Adrian College. The Pioneers then returned home to beat Transylvania University, 70-67. Enochs came off the bench in both games and was a dominant force in the paint. She scored 12 points, on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor, and grabbed a team-high six rebounds at Adrian. Enochs notched a double-double with 17 points and 10 boards against Transylvania.
