Football senior running back Roger Walker (Palm Bay, Fla. / Bayside) led the Pioneers to a 44-21 upset of No. 24-ranked Heidelberg. He carried the ball 29 times for 189 yards and four touchdowns, all season highs. Walker had two runs over 40-yards and also caught one pass for five yards. With those four touchdowns, Walker now has 43 career touchdowns, which ties him with Kenneth Sasu for second on Marietta's all-time list. Danté Brown holds the Pioneer record with 54 career touchdowns. For the season, Walker is second in the OAC averaging 111.4 rushing yards per game.
