Senior coxswain Lauren Talasnik (Mays Landing, N.J., Oakcrest), sophomore stroke Bridget Dean (Rochester, Minn., Mayo), sophomore Elizabeth Bratton (Philadelphia, Pa., St. Basil Academy), sophomore Kelli Barnette (Parkersburg, W.Va., South), freshman Trisha Wendel (Chagrin Falls, Kenston), freshman Abigail Klicker (Avalon Borough, Pa., Northgate), sophomore Jessica Amato (Shelby, Shelby), freshman Katelyn Hilderbrand (Pittsburgh, Pa., North Allegheny) and freshman bow Alyse McNeill (Pittsburgh, Pa., Shaler Area) became the first Varsity 8+ shell in school history to win gold at the Knecht Cup this past weekend.
