Baseball junior relief pitcher David Stover (Pittsburgh, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) was named the OAC Pitcher of the Week after picking up two wins last week. He pitched the final 4.0 innings in Marietta's 10-inning 2-1 win at Muskingum. Stover followed that outing with 5.0 shutout innings in the Pioneers' 11-inning 4-1 win at Baldwin Wallace. For the week, Stover pitched 9.0 innings and allowed just one run. He was 2-0 with a 1.00 earned run average. Stover walked three, two intentionally, and struck out four. Stover currently leads the OAC with a season ERA of 0.99 in his 27.1 innings pitched. He has made nine appearances, making one start, and is 3-0 with two saves.
