Women’s Basketball junior guard Brooke Borich (Beverly, Ohio / Fort Frye) averaged 26.0 points and 2.5 rebounds per game last week to the lead the Pioneers. She was Marietta’s leading scorer in both games last week scoring 22 points in MC’s one-point loss to Otterbein and pouring in a career-high 30 points at Baldwin Wallace. She sank a trio of three-pointers in each game and leads Marietta with a 39.4% completion rate behind the arc. Against the Yellow Jackets, Borich was 12-of-18 from the floor, including 3-of-4 from three-point range, and a perfect 3-of-3 at the free throw line. For the season, Borich leads the Pioneers averaging 12.5 points per game. Her 29 assists is second-best on the squad.
