Senior linebacker Daryl DeWindt (Lilburn, Ga./Meadowcreek) led the Pioneer defense with 15 total tackles in Marietta’s 28-21 overtime loss at Capital last week. DeWindt recorded four solo tackles and assisted on 11 other. He made a huge tackle behind the line of scrimmage on a fourth down at the MC 7-yard line. For the season, DeWindt led the Pioneers with 95 total tackles and 9.5 tackles for a loss. He made 42 solo stops and 53 assisted tackles.
