Marietta College Athletics

Sophomore Stephanie Monroe (Zanesville, Ohio/Maysville) led the Pioneer varsity 8+ shell to victory in the Muskie Chase, MC’s lone home race of the fall. Marietta won the 6,000-meter race with a time of 23:40 almost a full minute ahead of Dayton (24:31). Cincinnati was third followed by Ohio State and Washington University (Mo.). MC’s lineup included Monroe at coxswain, Helen Moore at stroke, Marissa Jeswald, Eileen Walsh, Katie Williams, Danielle Roger, Shelbi Westfield, Rachael Schleich and Isabella Hildebrandt.
