Women’s Tennis senior Alex Seals (Marysville, Ind. / New Washington) went 3-1 last week as the Pioneers opened the season with a 1-1 record. Seals was 2-0 in singles play with straight-set wins at No. 6 against Thomas More and No. 5 against Earlham. Seals teamed with Elyssa Ackerman to win the No. 2 doubles match against Earlham. Marietta lost to Thomas More 7-2 and swept Earlham 9-0.
