Men’s Basketball junior post player Eddy Grenert (Wooster/Triway) was named the OAC Player of the Week after posting a pair of double-doubles last week as the Pioneers opened OAC play with two road victories. Grenert poured in 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in MC’s 84-74 win over rival Muskingum. He followed that up with 14 points and 12 boards at Wilmington. For the season, Grenert leads Marietta and ranks second in the OAC averaging 9.6 rebounds per game. He is also averaging 11.0 points per game.
