Men’s Basketball senior post player Garrett Stephenson (West Milton/Milton-Union) led the Pioneers to a pair of non-conference wins last week averaging 13.5 points in the two games. Stephenson scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds in MC’s win over Waynesburg and then followed that up with 16 points and seven boards on the road at La Roche. For the season, Stephenson leads Marietta in scoring averaging 12.5 points per game. He is shooting 55.6% from the floor (20-of-36) and 88.9% (8-of-9) at the free throw line.
