Marietta College Athletics

Freshman outfielder Cierra Bloom (Dennison/Claymont) was named to the All-Tournament Team at the 2014 OAC Softball Tournament. Bloom was 5-for-7 at the plate for a .714 batting average in Marietta’s two tournament games. She was 3-for-4 with an RBI in the Pioneers’ extra-inning loss to Muskingum and then followed that with a 2-for-3 performance, including a double and RBI, against Ohio Northern. For the season, Bloom finished her rookie campaign with a .282 batting average. She had two doubles, one home run and 11 RBI.
