Marietta College Athletics

Freshman Marissa Jeswald (North Tonawanda, N.Y./Park School of Buffalo) was a part of two gold medal-wining shells last week at the 2014 Knecht Cup. Jeswald stroked the varsity 4+ crew and rowed in the seven seat in the second varsity 8+ boat. The Pioneers’ varsity 4+ crossed the line more than four seconds in front of the field recording a time of 7:59.22. Marietta’s second varsity 8+ boat edged Washington College at the line. The Pioneers posted a time of 7:21.47 a mere 1.5 seconds ahead of Washington College’s 7:22.94.
