Senior linebacker Jake Hammer (Wadsworth/St. Vincent-St. Mary) continues to be one of the top defensive players in the Ohio Athletic Conference. He compiled a game-high 20 tackle against Capital this week. Hammer has been MC’s leading tackler in both games this season and currently leads the OAC and is second in the nation averaging 16.5 tackles per game. Against the Crusaders, Hammer made four solo stops and had 16 assisted tackles. For the season, he has made nine solo tackles and 24 assisted.
