Freshman Emily Jones (Dublin/Dublin Scioto) had a breakout week scoring career-highs in points in back-to-back games. Jones was 3-of-4 from the floor and scored nine points in Marietta’s 89-84 overtime win against Mount Union. She followed that up with a team-high 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting in the Pioneers’ 71-61 victory over John Carroll. Jones is currently averaging 2.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in 23 games played this season.
