Freshman Alex Allen (Charleston, W.Va./Capital) was impressive in her collegiate debut at the Marietta First Glimpse indoor meet last weekend. Allen finished second in the women’s 55-meter dash registering a school-record time of 7.23 seconds. Allen broke the old record of 7.36 seconds set in 2008 by Brittany Sims.
