Junior Ryan Lopez-Jordan (Beachwood/St. Peter Chanel), an NCAA outdoor qualifier last spring, picked up where he left off last year with a record-setting win in the 55-meter hurdles. Lopez-Jordan pulled away from the field and broke the tape in 7.72 seconds trimming two-tenths of a second off the previous mark. John Jones set the old school record of 7.92 seconds in 1990.
