Marietta College Athletics

Sophomore coxswain Hannah Platt (Potomac, Md./Walt Whitman) piloted the two Marietta College women’s rowing Novice shells to victory at the Head of the Ohio Regatta last weekend.  Both the Novice 8+ and Novice 4+ shells won with plenty of open water on the competition. The 8+ crossed the line in 17:24.70 ahead of Division I opponents Pittsburgh and Cleveland State. The 4+ posted a time of 17:21.39 to beat Robert Morris and Xavier, both Division I schools.
