Junior shortstop #Michelle Sayre# led the Pioneers to a pair of OAC victories last week. Sayre hit safely in all four of Marietta’s games including a 3-for-6 performance in the Pioneers’ 10-inning, 8-4 win at Mount Union. She drove in three of Marietta’s four runs in a 4-3 win over Wilmington. For the week, Sayre hit .500 going 6-for-12 with two doubles, a home run and five runs batted in. She also walked three times and had a .563 on base percentage. Sayre’s slugging percentage for the week was a lofty .917.
