AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced its 2008 All-OAC Women’s Basketball award winners Wednesday (March 5) morning, and Marietta College senior standout Justine Pagenhardt (Oakland, Md./Southern Garrett) was given honorable mention.

Pagenhardt wrapped up her career on the women’s basketball team with another impressive season. The guard led the team and finished second in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) in scoring, averaging 17.0 points. She also contributed 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.8 steals per game in 2007-08. Pagenhardt finished her career fourth all-time in scoring with 1,454 points and as the career leader in three-point field goal attempts with 380.

Pagenahardt has now earned league recognition in three seasons; she also earned honorable mention in 2004-05 and second team honors in 2005-06. The four-year letterwinner was also the lone OAC representative on either the men or women’s teams ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Teams and is awaiting word on Academic All-OAC honors this winter. She received Academic All-OAC as both a sophomore and junior.

The Lady Pioneers, under first-year Head Coach Jill Meiring, finished the season 5-19 overall and 2-16 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
