DeZordo named OAC Field Athlete of the Week
Junior has three top 10 finishes at Don Frial Invitational

MARIETTA, Ohio — The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced its Players of the Week Monday (Apr. 9) afternoon and Marietta College’s junior Dan DeZordo (Louisville/Marlington) was named the Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at last Friday’s Don Frail Invitational.

DeZordo placed first in the discus with a throw of 151-00 (46.02m), fifth in the shot put with a mark of 44-11.50 (13.70m) and seventh in the hammer throw with a personal best performance of 142-02 (43.34m).

The Pioneers are back in action Tuesday (Apr. 10), when they compete at the Muskie Dual Meet. On Saturday, those that qualified, will compete at the All-Ohio Championships, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan.
