Lady Pioneers fall at Case Western Reserve, 7-2
Carraher and Pagenhardt both win at singles

CLEVELAND, Ohio — For the third time in four days, the Marietta College women's tennis team suffered a loss on the court Sunday (March 25) afternoon. The Lady Pioneers fell 7-2 to host Case Western Reserve University.

Sophomore Amanda Carraher (Hilliard/Hilliard Davidson) swept her match at first singles, winning 6-0, 6-0 over Kristen Ko. Carraher improved to 2-1 on the year.

Junior Justine Pagenhardt (Oakland, Md./Southern Garrett) picked up her first singles victory of the season, winning at fourth singles over Kristen Gibbs, 6-3, 6-1.

The Lady Pioneers are back in action Wednesday (March 28), when they resume Ohio Athletic Conference play against Wilmington. The match, which will take place at the Beren Tennis Center, is slated for 3:30 p.m.
