Lady Pioneers fall 5-4 to Heidelberg in first round of the OAC Tournament

WESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Marietta College women's tennis team concluded its 2005 season with a 5-4 loss to Heidelberg in the first round of the OAC Tournament, hosted by Otterbein Friday (Arp. 29).

Marietta entered the Tournament as the No. 8 seed and defeated No. 9 Heidelberg earlier this season. The Student Princes got the best of the Pioneers today, however, knocking Marietta out of the Tournament. The Lady Pioneers finished the year 2-11 overall and 1-8 in the OAC.
