Lady Pioneers drop tennis match to Yellow Jackets 8-1

BEREA, Ohio - The Lady Pioneers tennis team fell 8-1 to the Yellow Jackets of Baldwin-Wallace Saturday (Apr. 9). The loss drops Marietta's record to 1-7 overall, 0-5 in the OAC, while Baldwin-Wallace improves to 14-4 overall and 4-0 in Conference play.

Marietta picked up its only point in third doubles, when Katie Chadwell (Georgetown) and Sasha Katanic (Belgrade, Serbia/Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy) teamed up to win 8-6.

The Lady Pioneers will return to action Tuesday (Apr. 12) when it plays host to Capital at 3:30 p.m.
