Entry Fee | $150 per team, or $300 for both men’s and women’s team. $10 per individual entry, up to $100. Make checks payable to: Marietta College Track & Field Entry Fees will be based on entries not participation. No Refunds. |
Entries / Entry Deadlines | All Entries will go through Direct Athletics: • Deadline: 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday before the meet. Entries will open on January 8, 2015. • Maximum of five athletes per event. • Maximum of two relays per relay event. • You may exceed the athlete/relay limits at an additional charge of $5 per individual entry and $10 per relay entry. Email any extra entries to Andy Knapp adk005@marietta.edu. Be sure to include the name of athlete/school, event to add to and entry mark. A performance list confirming all entries will be available on this page on the Wednesday prior to each contest by 7:00 p.m. |
Athletic Training | • The training room will be available for treatment (e-stem, ultra-sound, heat). • Athletes will need a note with treatment instructions from their own athletic trainers in order to receive treatment. • Athletic trainers will be on hand to assist with injuries and emergencies during the competition. • Taping can be done by our student athletic trainers but your athletes will need to supply the taping materials.If any additional modality treatment is needed, visiting teams must contact Cookie Geroski, at lmg001@marietta.edu to set up an appointment. |
Facility | • 200m Mondo Super-X, installed in December 2002. 6 lanes (36"), 8 lane sprint straight (42"). (Only 7 lanes will be used in 55m hurdles. • We have 8 sets of regular blocks and 2 sets of Moye. Feel free to bring your own blocks. (Only 1/4" spikes in the base plate of the blocks.) • Horizontal jump runway is Mondo. • Pole vault runway is instant runway. 1/4” spikes are permitted on the instant runway. Lowest setting for the PV standards will be 7-06.00. The bar cannot start lower than 7-06.00. • High jump apron is Mondo (Sportsflex). • Throwing events will be from wood. • There are three in-ground triple jump boards available for competition at the following distances from the pit: 28 ft. – 36 ft. – 41 ft. |
Spike Rule | • Spikes longer then 1/8" pyramids are not permitted. • The clerk will be checking spike length just before the races. If your athlete is in violation of this rule, he/she will not be allowed to participate. • Spikes will be available for purchase at the clerk's table. |

Drop Off / Parking | PLEASE ENTER THROUGH THE MAIN ENTERANCE NEAR MIDDLE OF CAMPUS. Parking on campus is limited, therefore buses are to unload on Butler Street (see campus map for location), and then please go park at the Hermann Fine Arts lot across the street from the Dyson-Baudo Center. Vans and spectators may park in the lot next to Hermann Fine Arts Building (see campus map), or in available spaces on campus or adjacent to campus. |
Concessions | There will be a concession stand open. |
Team Camps | Please set up team camps on the brown floor covering to the right and left of the pole vault pit. |
Precautions | Please pay attention to the signage in the facility! • No spikes will be allowed on any of the camp floor covering or in the hallways. • No food or drinks will be allowed inside the track area. (Only water will be permitted inside the track.) |
Food | Any food that your team brings into the facility will not be allowed at team camp. The food will need to be taken to the stairwell on the east side of the facility where tabless will be set up. |
Showers | Located in the lower level of the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center. The general locker rooms are located just past the racquetball courts. You will need to supply your own towels and locks for the lockers. |
