MARIETTA, Ohio - Marietta College Provost
Rita Kipp Smith is pleased to announce the hiring of
Jaclyn Schwieterman as the latest addition to the Athletic Training Department.
Schwieterman will serve as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for men's soccer, men's basketball, tennis and rowing. She will also be an Assistant Professor teaching Fundamentals of Athletic Training and Upper Extremity Assessment and Lab.
"I am excited to start the school year here at Marietta College,” Schwieterman said. “I am ready for the transition into a new college and program and I am looking forward to working with the many great people I have met and will meet here at Marietta College."
Schwieterman, a native of Celina, Ohio, comes to Marietta after gaining experience as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Fla. While there, she worked with the baseball team and the Athletic Training Education program. As an adjunct instructor, she taught courses in Advanced Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries, Advanced First Aid and Emergency Care, Therapeutic Modalities in Athletic Training Lab and Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries Lab.
Schwieterman earned her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Ohio University in 2007 and a master's degree in College Student Personnel Administration from the University of West Florida in 2009.
