KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA) announced its 2009 All-Region Men's Soccer Teams this week and Marietta College senior defender
Delè Adedapo (Gahanna, Bexley) received NCAA Division III All-Great Lakes Region third team honors. Adedapo became the first three-time All-Region selection in Pioneer men's soccer history.
Adedapo, a three-year letterman and two-year captain, finished the season with 1 goal and 2 assists in 14 games. Adedapo also anchored a defense that produced 5 shutouts in 2009. Earlier this season he was named the Ohio Athletic Conference's Co-Defender of the Year and All-OAC first team for a third straight season.
Adedapo finished his career with 13 goals and 3 assists in three years with Marietta after transferring from the Ohio State University after his freshman season.
