AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) office released its 2009 Academic All-OAC Men's Soccer Teams on Thursday (Nov. 19) morning, and sophomore defender
Trenton Tunnell (Parkersburg, W.Va., South) represented Marietta College by receiving Academic All-OAC honorable mention.
The OAC faculty athletic representatives selected the award winners. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.25 grade point average, be a starter or key reserve and be in at least her second year of participation in the sport.
Tunnell, a two-year letterman, played in all 20 of the Pioneers' games this season. He finished with 1 goal and 2 assists. Off the pitch, Tunnell maintains a 3.40 grade point average as a Petroleum Engineering major.

Patrick Holguin, Marietta (6-13-1, 4-5 OAC) made its fourth overall and third-straight trip to the OAC Tournament in 2009.
