AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) office released its 2009 All-OAC Men's Soccer Teams and Special Award Winners on Wednesday (Nov. 11) morning, and Marietta College senior defender
Delè Adedapo (Gahanna, Bexley) was named the OAC's Co-Defender of the Year. Adedapo also received All-OAC first team honors for the third straight season.
Adedapo, a three-year letterman and two-year captain, is the first Pioneer to earn Defender of the Year honors. He finished the season with 1 goal and 2 assists in 14 games. Adedapo also anchored a defense that produced 5 shutouts in 2009.
Adedapo, a two-time All-Great Lakes Region selection, finished his career with 13 goals and 3 assists in three years with Marietta after transferring from the Ohio State University after his freshman season.

Patrick Holguin, Marietta (6-13-1, 4-5 OAC) made its fourth overall and third-straight trip to the OAC Tournament in 2009. The Pioneers, runner-up in 2008, fell 1-0 at Heidelberg University in the OAC Quarterfinals this season.
