Pioneer football's First and Ten Luncheons to return in 2007
Initial luncheon slated for Monday, Aug. 27 at 12 p.m.

MARIETTA, Ohio — All local Marietta College football fans will once again have the opportunity to spend the lunch hour each Monday during the season with Head Coach Curt Wiese and the Pioneer coaching staff as part of the program's First and Ten Luncheons.

The initial First and Ten Luncheon is slated for Monday (Aug. 27) at 12 p.m. They will continue each week through Nov. 12.

In their third year of existence, the First and Ten Luncheons, which take place in the Trustee's Conference Room of Ban Johnson Arena, allow Pioneer fans to get a recap of the previous game, including video highlights. Guests then receive a preview of the upcoming match-up. Those in attendance also get insight into other aspects of the Pioneer football program beyond what takes place on the field.

In addition, select players are available each week for interviews, and prizes are given away at the end of the gathering. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the door each Monday. All are welcome.
